Governing Body

Welcome to our governor pages

School governors work as a team to ensure the continual improvement of the school and the safety and well-being of its pupils. Governors play a major part in decisions on schools' finance, the appointment of staff, the maintenance and use of school premises and the policies adopted by the school. Governors define the strategic direction of the school and both support and promote the school in the wider community. St. Gregory's governors are proud of our school's achievements, our values and our caring, family atmosphere.

If you are interested in becoming a governor . . .

We are delighted to welcome new members. Please speak to Mr Perry or speak to a member of the governors.

If you have a concern or issue you wish to raise . . .

Please speak to a member of staff in the first instance. The staff are the people who are best placed to help you and will do their best to resolve the issue. If you still have a concern after speaking to staff, please speak to Mr Perry. The school takes concerns seriously and will work with you to resolve them.

If you still have concerns after following the above, contact the Chair of Governors using the email below. Whilst we have many governors who are also parents at the school, we would ask you to follow these procedures rather than speaking to them directly. This ensures that the school will handle every concern fairly and consistently.

To contact the Chair, email: chair@stgregorys.cheshire.sch.uk
